PORTRAIT PROCEEDINGS Also Portraitist, Carine works with photographies   and/or or  sitting sessions  in her studio or, from a compilation of photos taken by herself or by the customer, and in case of order on the website, photos are sent by e-mail in attached file.  The artist always appreciates to have the opportunity of knowing her model before the beginning, but in case of order on the website information is given by the customer which allows to personalize the environment,and any details importants like  clothes etc...So that to catch the atmosphere of the portrait. A small analyse of the composition of the portrait, will be presented to the approval of the customer in Carine's studio, if it is possible, or by e-mail (attached files of photos of the first "sketches") before beginning the final picture.This one is then painted with  best materials which exist on the market, to provide the longevity of the portrait,framed between a glass and  rigid backing for pastel portraits, or canvas for acrylic one's, according to the choice of the customer like addition of natural flowers for example. If the portrait must be sent by mail abroad, photos of the portrait are sent to the customer by e-mail for  approval and / or  some retouch before final sending. A portrait is delivered only if the customer is completely satisfied. Carine Millas works with soft pastels or acrylic, in mixed-media, with or without modeling paste according to the selected style chosen with the estimate. PAYMENT A down payment of a third of the price is requested at the beginning of the first preliminary study (after acceptance of the free estimate), and the balance is paid at the end, when the customer is satisfied of the portrait.  Framed between a glass and  rigid backing for pastel portraits is always offered by Carine for portraits done with pastel to protect  it, but the customer can always change the frame and choose in supplement a more elaborated model ancient frame for instance.  The freight costs, and postal fees are free for  France & the EEC, in a safe packaging + certificate of authenticity / invoice.  For a precise estimation  of your portrait plan, do not hesitate to contact Carine .  ( See below how to put in an order on the Website)

  Placing orders on the website:

1. If you wish to  realize a portrait, you have to choose in a  first time some  good photos (not too small or too  dark).
2. If your photos are numeric  (JPEG generally) send it to Carine by e-mail , if that is not the case, scan them and send it to Carine's studio.It will allow  to judge if  photos suit to realize the portrait.
3.  When the choice of the photo is ok and  frame chosen among several models, Carine will begin your portrait after a down payment of  25 % of the final price of the portrait.
4. After the first sketch of the portrait  a photo is sent by e-mail, to judge or make editorial changes and\or finalize details and retouches; that can recur several times, until the result seems good enough .
5. When both parts are satisfied of the portrait you can then send the final balance (others 75 %).After after  your payment, the portait is sent in a safe packaging with certificate of authenticity / invoice.Carine offers postal fees for France & EEC.
6. N.B. approximately 1 month of time of waiting is necessary between order's acception and the final result.Carine will tell you according to her backlog.
